Founded as Galeria Fortes Vilaça in 2001, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel has established itself as one of the leading contemporary art galleries worldwide, maintaining a dynamic program of approximately 20 exhibitions per year across its two spaces in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, as well as a strong presence at major international art fairs. In 2026, the gallery celebrates 25 years of activity, with a roster of 45 artists, 31 of whom are Brazilian. Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with its represented artists, supporting emerging voices, cultivating established careers and relevant artistic practices, and promoting sustained dialogue with museums and curators around the world. Committed to developing innovative models, the gallery also invests in collaborations with other galleries and institutions through independent and hybrid projects.
